My experience with Matthew Ruff was amazing! He is really experienced, connected (knows DAs, judges), and worked my case relentlessly until he got the outcome we all desired.
Long story short….Had couple of beers, got pulled over for a broken tail light, blew .08 and .09 into breathalyzer, got arrested……..District Attorney filed DUI charges. Mr. Ruff was able to get the charges reduced to a Dry Reckless, which was an awesome deal.
Then came the DMV Hearing process….very long process during which Matthew showed up to multiple hearings and brought experts with him to fight the case and make sure the driver’s license wasn’t suspended by the DMV.
Today we’ve found out that Mr. Ruff won the DMV hearing case!! — and the DMV will not take away the Driver’s License! This is awesome news as it will save $$$s with the insurance company and skips all the other sanctions and pain of not having the DL!
Mr. Ruff is very professional keeping the client informed every step of the way, and willing to go the extra mile for his clients. I fully, 100% recommend his services if you have anything to do with DUI charges or Driver License suspension.

“Due to Mr. Ruff’s expert handling of my case he was able to get my license reinstated. He was very easy to work with and made me feel very comfortable with the process.”
The purposes of the National College For DUI Defense is essentially twofold. First and foremost, improving the education and skills of the practitioner. Second, providing a venue for communication and fraternity among practitioners nationwide. Later, a third goal was set of increasing and recognizing the quality of DUI practitioners by obtaining ABA approval for specialization in the field.
